Half Day Rafting Trips (9/10 Miles, Class 2-3)

The Gorge section is a classic California whitewater run that people keep coming back to paddle. For the half-day trip you get 9 miles of whitewater with all the great class 3 rapids on either the "Gorge" or "Chili Bar" section of the river. This trip meets at either 10:00 AM or 12:30 PM and is done typically 3.5 hours after the meet time

1-Day Gorge Sections (13 Miles, Class 2-3)

A popular and scenic 13 miles of river will have you experiencing rapids such as Highway 49 (only 50 yards downstream from camp after lunch) Satan’s Cespool, and Hospital Bar.  Lunch is included at our private riverside campground, and from there is all downstream to the final destination at the tail end of Folsom Lake. This trip meets at 10:15AM and is done between 4:30-5:00PM.

Full River Rafting Trip (21 Miles, Class 2-3)

Want to see what the whole 21 miles is like in 1 day? Well this is your trip!  You will conqueror rapids such as Troublemaker, Satins Cesspool, and Hospital Bar all while enjoying the fulfillment of a full day floating down the South Fork of the American.  Lunch is provided at our private riverside camp at Rivers Bend Resort.  Meet time is at 8:15 and you area typically back to your cars after the trip around 4:30 - 5:00 P.M.. This is in our opinion the best commercial trip on the American River at flows over 3,000 CFS (typically during March-June).

2-Day Rafting Trip with Camping

Every one needs more whitewater in their life, so stay the night and get more the next day. H2O Adventures offers an overnight trip where you get 2 days of rafting on the South Fork with dinner cooked for you in between. Can you say awesome? We think so too. H2O Yeah! Day one follows the “1 day Gorge” section itinerary, then dinner and breakfast at camp, followed by the upper Chili Bar section on day 2. Clean restrooms, showers, great food, campfires, and ghost stories await your overnight camping adventure at Rivers Bend.

The kids LOVED rafting! It was such a relaxing and rewarding day. It was their favorite day of the whole summer vacation”
