Camping at H2O Adventures

On the banks South Fork of the American River in Lotus, CA.

H2O Adventures is not a public campground. However we have the ability to offer camping to our rafting guests who booking a trip on the American River.

The property allows for a max of 2 nights of camping for every 1 day or half-day of rafting.

Located right alongside the South Fork of the American, camping at H2O Adventures allows for a great way to breakup a long drive from the Bay Area, enjoy some relaxing time before or after your rafting trip, or simply just get out of your comfort zone and sleep in a tent for a night.

Info about camping at H2O Adventures

Reservation are required before arrival

—Check in for camping is anytime after 2:00 PM

—Check out time is 11:30 AM after the night of your trip

—Quite Hours on the property are from 10:30 PM to 6:45 AM

—Camping is a bring your own gear style campground.

—Our campground includes hot showers, and flush toilets.

—Accessing the campground requires a short 50-yard walk from the parking lot.  Typically all personal camping gear is brought in by wheelbarrows provided by the campground.

—If you plan to prepare your own meals, a small outdoor kitchen and sink are available for use.  Propane BBQs and Stove tops are free for you to use.

Additional add -on for camping

H2O Adventures has 5 canvas tents on raised platforms that are available for rent, they are set up to sleep 2 campers, and come equipment with 2 cots, sleeping pads and sleeping bag. We suggest you bring your own pillow or 2 for a good night sleep.

The cost to rent the canvas tents is $30 per-tent for the duration of your stay.
