The Klamath River provides the ideal “get away from it all” experience. Treasured for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife, this river provides it all. These trips meet in Northern California (Happy Camp or Shasta City dependent on trip selection) and cross through the border from Southern Oregon to Northern California.

The Lower Klamath multi day trips are available to participants ages 6 and above. The slow pace of this trip is an unforgettable experience that will have your family smiling long past the final moments of the trip.

The Upper Klamath is a river experience chalked full of adrenaline rushing moments and ear to ear grins. Available to those ages 14 and up, this stretch has to be seen to be believed.

Lower Klamath

Class II-III (Multi-Day)

The Lower Klamath two to three day trip is a rafters secluded relaxing wilderness dream.

Hikes to Ukonom Falls make you feel like you’re in another world. Rapids such as rattlesnake and dragons tooth provide the whitewater excitement between wildlife sightings.

Upper Klamath

Class iv-IV+ (18 miles)

The Upper Klamath is action packed. Half mile long rapids, steep drops, and a high dessert volcanic backdrop make for an otherworldly whitewater experience.

The river cuts through a steep wilderness canyon at the south edge of the Cascades. The area is rich in Old West history and wildlife. With an average gradient of 40 fpm and dependable water releases, this river is a can’t miss for the adventurous looking to expand their river experience.
